Hi just wanted to report this is super close to being able to run on windows subsystem for linux on a windows machine. if you edit line 67 of config.py
to be this:

# User info
    import getpass
    identifiers.append(getpass.getuser())

You can bypass the OS Error & it appears to work as expected on macbook.

Je n'ai personne pour me confirmer que mon planning horaires configuré sur Slack.green est respecté sur l'application Slack.

Le tableau de bord affichera l'état réel des espaces de travail Slack connectés. Il devrait être actif pendant vos heures de travail. Vous pouvez également consulter le tableau de bord sur le navigateur de votre téléphone mobile ; n'hésitez pas à tester en fermant l'application Slack et à observer son comportement !

Hi, thanks for the question and sorry for the late reply. We fake a connection to your Slack workspace from our cloud servers.

The dashboard will show the actual Slack status of connected workspaces. This should be active during your scheduled hours. You can also see the dashboard on your mobile phone browser, so try playing around with closing the Slack app and how things behave!

It doesn't work. I use "Stay online next 6 hours" but my Status is "Away"

First, I'm sorry for your experience. I checked that the feature works with our test accounts, but there may be some issues that you experienced.

First, it may take some time (sometimes up to a minute) for the actual status to update. Does the normal scheduling feature work for you?

Lastly, there have been some rare Slack workspace settings that interfere with our algorithm. In this case honestly, it is much trickier, but we will try our best. 
Since we aren't using official APIs, these things might happen, so we provide a trial to check these issues.

Hello- I love the product. However, I run my own server and I am interested in hosting a slack.green instance for my own private use. I don't think this is possible now (correct me if I am wrong), but maybe is this an option you'd consider offering in the future? Thanks!

I just checked your comment on a self-hostable version, first I'm so glad you are liking it, and thank you for supporting it! Thanks to your suggestion, I'm working on a self-hostable version which I plan to release this weekend.

But unfortunately, I'm working on these projects full-time and it's not paying for all my bills yet, so I do need to price it to make some money(on open-sourcing it).
