How to Contact Slack Support: Help Menu, Form, /feedback and Email
In Slack, click ? then Contact Us, or type /feedback. We followed each route on a Free workspace, with screenshots of the form, the topics and the Feedback panel.
To contact Slack support, email feedback@slack.com from the address on your Slack account, or click the ? (Help) button at the top right of Slack, then Contact Us. That opens Slack's form at slack.com/help/requests/new, where you click Contact support, pick a topic, describe the problem and click Send us a message. In the app, typing /feedback opens the same kind of form in a side panel. Slack lists no phone number for support, and its help center gives feedback@slack.com for anyone who wants a reply by email.
We went through each route on 3 October 2026, signed in to a Free workspace, and stopped before sending anything. The screenshots below are from that run.
Contact Slack support from inside the app
The Help button is the question mark in the top-right corner of the Slack window, next to the search bar. It opens a Help panel with a search box, help topics and two buttons at the bottom: Help requests, which opens in your browser, and Contact Us.
Contact Us does not open a chat inside Slack. It opened slack.com/help/requests/new in a new browser tab, already signed in to the workspace we were using. slack.com/contact goes to the same page.
The Slack support form, step by step
The page first offers two buttons. Ask Agentforce is Slack's AI agent for support questions. Contact support is the form that goes to Slack's support team.
- Click Contact support.
- Pick a topic: Audio & video, Billing & plans, Connection trouble, Managing channels, Managing members, Notifications, Signing in, Slack Connect, Workflow Builder or Workspace migration. You can also type your own topic and click Get help.
- Slack shows related questions and help articles for that topic. If none of them fixes it, scroll down.
- Fill in Can you give us more details? and attach screenshots under Attach files (optional).
- Click Send us a message.
In our Free workspace, the Notifications topic and the Billing & plans topic both ended in Send us a message; no chat button appeared. When you are not signed in, the same page asks for your email address and suggests you sign in first, so Slack can see which workspace you mean.
Send feedback with /feedback
Type /feedback in any message box. Slack suggests "Send feedback to Slack", and Enter opens a Feedback panel on the right: "How can we help? Questions, bug reports, feedback - we're here for it all." It has a text box, a paperclip for files and a send button. Nothing goes to the channel you typed in.
Never appear "away" on Slack again

Slack support email and phone number
Slack's help center articles end with the line "If you'd like a member of our support team to respond to you, please send a note to feedback@slack.com." We found it on the two articles we checked on 3 October. Use that address when you cannot sign in at all, and write from the email on your Slack account.
We found no phone number for support: not on the Contact Us page, not in the Help panel and not in the form.

Free workspaces can still use the form and the email address; our Free workspace reached Send us a message on every topic we tried. If response time matters to your team, weigh it with the rest in is Slack Pro worth it.
What to put in the message
yourteam.slack.com. The form fills it in only when you are signed in.If the problem is a setting only an admin can change, such as message retention or who can invite people, ask your workspace Owner first. Frequently asked questions
Is there a Slack outage right now? Check slack-status.com before you write in. If Slack lists an incident, a ticket will not speed it up.
Can I talk to a person at Slack? Yes, through Contact support and Send us a message; Agentforce is the AI option on the same page. We did not see a live chat button on a Free workspace.
What if I cannot sign in to Slack at all? Use the form without signing in, or email feedback@slack.com from the address on your account.
