離席中は灰色の点、非アクティブは28日Slackを使わなかったときのお支払いのステータス、解除済みは管理者が止めたアカウントです。実際のワークスペースの管理画面で、それぞれがどこに出るかを確かめました。

Slackでは、相手のプロフィールを開いても、名前にカーソルを合わせても、ステータスを確かめても、相手には何も届きません。見た人の一覧もなく、管理者にも分かりません。相手が気づくのは、DMでの入力中の表示、メッセージ、リアクション、メンション、ハドルです。

We uploaded four files to Slack and downloaded them again. The PNG and MP4 came back byte for byte, the JPEG came back re-encoded without its EXIF, and the chat only ever shows a 1024 px preview.

We archived, unarchived and deleted channels in Slack web and through the API, and recorded what members see, what apps can still do, and which names stay taken.
