Discord에서는 한 사람이나 한 서버에게만 상태를 숨길 수 없습니다. 앱이 보내는 상태는 계정 전체에 하나이고, 사람이나 서버를 지정하는 항목이 없다는 것을 코드로 확인했습니다. 대신 오프라인 표시, 차단, 무시, 친구 삭제, 서버별 활동 설정이 각각 무엇을 숨기는지 정리했습니다.

회사 노트북이나 회사 네트워크라면 대개 볼 수 있습니다. 네트워크에는 모든 사이트 이름이, 검사용 프록시나 모니터링 프로그램에는 페이지 내용까지 보이고, 시크릿 모드가 숨기는 것은 기기의 기록뿐입니다. 층마다 무엇이 보이는지와 내 노트북을 확인하는 법을 정리했습니다.

회사의 ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, Microsoft 365 Copilot 계정이라면 회사는 대개 대화를 읽을 수 있습니다. ChatGPT Business에서는 기본 설정으로는 읽을 수 없습니다. 개인 계정이라면 기록을 열 수 없지만, 회사 노트북은 입력하는 내용을 기록할 수 있습니다.

The official Slack MCP server lives at https://mcp.slack.com/mcp and needs a user token from an app with MCP turned on. We built one, connected Claude Code and Codex CLI, sent a message and searched for it, and copied every response.

Discord 상태 색은 다섯 가지입니다. 초록은 온라인, 노란 초승달은 자리 비움, 가로줄이 있는 빨간 원은 방해 금지, 보라는 방송 중, 회색은 오프라인 또는 오프라인 표시입니다. 초록 휴대폰 모양은 모바일 앱에서만 온라인이라는 뜻입니다. 아이콘별 의미와 이름 옆의 음소거, 헤드셋 음소거, LIVE, 왕관, 보석 아이콘까지 정리했습니다.

Discord에서 오프라인 표시와 오프라인은 똑같이 회색으로 보입니다. 오프라인은 어느 기기에서도 로그인하지 않은 상태입니다. 오프라인 표시는 메시지 보내기까지 평소처럼 Discord를 쓰면서 모두에게 오프라인으로 보이는 상태입니다. 그래도 들키는 행동과 오프라인 표시로 할 수 없는 것을 정리했습니다.

Slack messages can now carry real charts. We posted line, bar, area and pie charts and a sortable data table to a test workspace with a bot token, a webhook and a user token, and logged every limit Slack enforced.

Slack Green을 쓰는 동안 동료, 워크스페이스 관리자, 회사 IT가 무엇을 볼 수 있는지 실제 Slack 접속 기록으로 확인했습니다. 6시간마다 저희 서버 IP에서 웹 세션이 기록됩니다.

A Slack member ID is the U... code that identifies a person. Copy it from their profile under the three-dot menu, or look it up with users.info and users.list. Tested in two workspaces, with the ID formats we found.

Slack answers too many calls with HTTP 429 and a Retry-After header. We burst chat.postMessage, conversations.history and an incoming webhook from an internal app and logged every response: where the 429s started, the bodies, and a retry loop that never hit one.

files.upload now returns method_deprecated. Use files.getUploadURLExternal, POST the bytes, then files.completeUploadExternal, or files_upload_v2 in the SDK. Tested with curl and Python, including two silent failures.

channel_not_found means Slack cannot see the channel with the token you used: a wrong ID, a name that does not exist, a private channel the bot is not in, or a channel in another workspace. Each case tested on a real bot.

not_in_channel means the bot is not a member of the channel you posted or read from. Public channel: conversations.join or chat:write.public. Private channel: /invite the app. Every response here came from a real app.

Slack returns missing_scope when the token lacks a scope the method needs. The response names it in 'needed'. Add that scope, reinstall the app, and call again. Tested on a real app.

Open the emoji picker, click Skin Tone at the bottom right and pick one of six hands. We tested where the default applies on 29 September 2026: the picker, autocomplete and reactions use it, but a fully typed :thumbsup: does not.

You can type a URL into a Slack status, but it shows as plain text that nobody can click. We tried a pasted URL, Markdown and Slack's own link syntax on 29 September 2026; none became a link.

Click the channel name and read the last line of the About tab: Channel ID, with a copy button. We also ran the API calls that fail when you pass a channel name instead of the ID, and the fix.

The headphones icon in Slack means huddles: the button that starts one, a live huddle next to a channel, the bar you are in. We started a huddle alone to show every spot, and checked whether you can huddle in your own DM.

We typed every common markdown shortcut into a Slack canvas. Headings, lists, checklists, quotes and code convert as you type; a single *star* makes bold, not italic; links, dashes for a divider and ==highlight== stay as plain text.

할 수 있지만 한계가 있습니다. 소유자와 관리자는 활성 일수, 게시한 메시지 수, 로그인, 요금제에 따라 DM 내보내기를 봅니다. 앱은 초록 점을 기록할 수 있습니다. Slack은 키 입력, 마우스 경로, 스크린숏을 기록하지 않습니다.

Zoom의 초록색 동그라미는 데스크톱에서 대화 가능, 초록색 휴대폰 모양은 모바일에서만 대화 가능, 회색 시계는 자리 비움, 빨간 아이콘은 바쁨이나 방해 금지, 주황색 아이콘은 회의 중, 통화 중, 캘린더 일정 중이라는 뜻입니다. Zoom 7.2.5 Mac 앱의 파일에서 아이콘을 모두 읽었습니다.

Set a reminder on a Slack message from its three-dot menu, then watch where it goes. We tested it on 29 September and 8 October 2026: the message waits in To-dos (formerly Later) and fires as a card in Activity, with no Slackbot DM.

Slack's own reminder bot is /remind, which also reminds whole channels. If you are building one, reminders.add still works with a user token, but one-time reminders it creates land in the To-dos tab where reminders.list cannot see them.

읽지 않은 메시지가 없는데 Slack에 배지가 뜬다면 스레드, 다른 워크스페이스, 활동, 해야 할 일, 오래된 캐시 중 하나가 원인입니다. Shift+Esc로 모두 읽음 처리하고, 스레드를 열고, 남으면 캐시를 지우세요.

Most broken Slack reminders are misread commands, or reminders that did fire but went to Activity and Later instead of a Slackbot DM. Each failure below was reproduced in Slack on 29 September 2026.

Slack 관리자는 앱에서 내 DM을 열 수 없습니다. 워크스페이스 소유자로 확인해 보니 표준 내보내기에는 DM과 비공개 채널이 빠지고, 분석에는 DM에서 읽힌 비율만 나왔습니다. 비즈니스+와 Enterprise의 소유자는 신청하면 DM을 내보낼 수 있습니다.

One-time Slack reminders can only be moved to a new time from the To-dos tab, called Later until October 2026. Recurring and channel reminders cannot be edited at all: delete them from /remind list and set them again.
